After being a patient for almost 7 years, I called for an appointment because my child's finger was closed in the door at school (her first real injury in almost 9 years). I was told I couldn't be seen for 2 hours so naturally I went to the ER. Upon follow up 3 days later, I told Dr. Meehan of my unhappiness. She basically told me to "find another dr if I wasn't happy there!! It was dangerous to treat more than 50 patients in a day (with that many doctors and those long hours?), and the emergency appointments book up early in the morning, it's strep season." I guess a sore throat is higher priority than a crushed finger!! Did I mention she wanted me to follow up with ortho but they never re-wrapped my daughters finger that was lacerated and splinted?! I had to go home and do it myself!! She came wrapped, re-wrap it!!! So disappointed with Dr. Meehan lack of caring and disregard for my child as well as myself.
