My father is a resident and was the victim of a crime in their lobby. An outside person walked in and requested change of $100 at the front desk. The front desk agent did not have change so my dad offered to help out and changed the $100. The $100 bill turned out to be counterfeit. Given that we have entrusted the safety of my 85 year old father to the Arbors at a cost of over $4200 / month, we expect some level of security and training for their employees. The front desk agent should have asked the person to leave the premises and/or advised my father that the person requesting the change was a stranger. The Arbors has accepted no responsibility for the incident and will not even return my calls. They are only interested in your $$ and will raise your monthly rent by 5% - 8% each year. Beware!
