RUN, don't walk away. Check YELP and Google reviews.

If I could give a minus rating I would. Don't walk, RUN away from this business! Knowing I needed a front tooth pulled and an implant I had been doing research into the best solution for my situation. I had a quote from my local dentist of $4,000 and was looking into going to Mexico for the work. Saw Sunrise dental on the internet when I searched for implants and decided to have the free consultation. I should also mention I am very dental phobic due to childhood trauma. After the initial exam I'm presented with a treatment plan of over $7,000. I say no, my local dentist will do it for $4,000 and I'm looking into treatment in Mexico. With some back and forth and going without the temporary flipper and using my own pulled tooth as a temporary he said he can do the whole process for $3,200. This sounded like a reasonable solution to my problem but the paperwork said I need to come back every four months for teeth cleaning in order for him get the lifetime warranty. I'm in South Seattle, he is in Issaquah and traffic can be horrible, besides I have a dentist in my area. He said I can cross that out, modify the agreement as I have a local dentist I see, so I did.

It was a very stressful time, I'm in tears. I asked can I go home and take something they prescribe for sedation and come back with a driver? Dr. Sidhu and his assistant assured me it was a simple process and it would not be necessary. So reluctantly I agreed. The experience was brutal. I'm terrified of shots in my mouth. I'm scared, in tears, and hyperventilating while he gives me shot after shot after shot. Then he tells me I spit on him and need to breath through my mouth. I'm freaked out. He pulls my front tooth. Later I was so apologetic for spitting on him and he says I didn't really spit on him but he was trying to distract me from hyperventilating. Then doesn't tell me what is next. I'm paralyzed, white knuckled in the chair as I'm left alone. Maybe a half hour later he comes back, shoves my old tooth back in the socket, has to give me more pain shots and is annoyed that I'm in pain and I'm freaked out as he gives me multiple shots then he scores the tooth and snaps it off, in my head! I was totally stunned. No one explained this to me. Then he had a new assistant help with the bonding of my old tooth to the teeth next to it and he lost it with her. After this horrifying experience I was in full blown panic mode and had to go on anti anxiety meds for the only time in my life. But I've spent $2200 and it's $1,000 more and I will have the implant done. I can do this. Not exactly.

Today I go in for an exam to see how the bone graft has taken. Seems like it's going well. I go to the front desk and am told I can have a comprehensive exam and ct scan today for $99 and $360 on top of the $1,000 I was told I would pay. I said no, there is something wrong. I did not agree to this. I was told the entire cost to finish this would be $1,000. Scanning the form it looks like I will pay another $3,000 to get the implant not the agreed upon total price of $3,200. I meet with him in his office and it's very confusing. He said he would bill me for the CT scan and take it off the next bill for treatment with the implant. But he would still bill me for the exam and then there would be bills for impressions (I never heard of this before) and I needed to go to an orthodontist before he did the implant then he said he would not replace my tooth dental bridge after he removes it for the implant process even though this was all agreed to beforehand. Finally he said he would do the implant for the $1,000 we agreed to but again insisted there would be additional charges IF I signed a waiver saying I had NO rights to any sort of legal or medical action and would not post anything on social...

Dr. Sidhu is straight to the point, not the type of guy you're going to have lengthy conversations with, but I like that in a dentist. He's extremely knowledgable, professional, I trust him, I think that's the biggest thing. I know exactly what I'm getting and I can't recommend Sunrise Dental of Issaquah enough!
