I love Fontana's - they are the only place in Ithaca left to get my favorite Dansko clogs. They carry really good quality shoes that are all pretty much perfect for Ithaca - they have great winter boots, outdoorsy type sandals, and shoes that look good but also feel good. They also have cool kids' shoes. They also have super helpful staff that are able to help more than one person at a time so you don't wait 20 minutes to get a pair of shoes to try on (this has happened to me at department stores). Well worth the schlep to Collegetown. Also a great place to "shop local".
