Dr P's office made a mistake and never billed us for $60 that was not covered by our insurance. Next thing I know we get a notice from a collection agency. We sent a payment to Dr P's office. They refused to accept it and said we had to pay the collection agency. We pointed out that DR P's office never billed us and that we did not know we owed them any money. So after 8 years and thousands of dollars in payments to Dr P we have been unceremoniously dumped from the practice with no discussion. Quite a business model, make a billing mistake and then compound the error by rejecting a 4 good paying clients from your practice. Stay away!

I drive over an hour to come here, and I love all the staff and their work-except one. The woman that often answers the phone-I think her name is Rachel. She has been rude and VERY combative with us, AND with my insurance (we were on a 3 way phone call and she threw my insurance woman serious attitude over a mistake SHE made.) I called to make 2 cleaning appointments-one for myself and one for my fiancé. She inquired about the second appt and when I responded with who it was for, and without even asking his name, she said "Well, he's going to have to get on the waiting list because he's a new patient." I said that he was an existing patient, She says "Well, you can't schedule his because of privacy laws-he'll have to call back and schedule his own." I say just schedule me and I'll hand the phone to him to schedule his right after. She finishes scheduling my appointment and when I asked if she wanted to speak with him, she says nevermind she booked his too. It's like pulling teeth!!!

I made an appointment but didnt confirm that they accepted my daughters insurance. It turns out that they dont. They saw her antways and cleaned her teeth free of charge. She is 2 and it was her first trip to the dentist. I highly recommend them. Friendly and professional

Caution! This guy is the worst dentist I have ever met. I went to his office because I saw the "incredible" reviews about him. Now I suspect that he must have asked his stuff to post these "fake" comments. He will do something to your tooth without informing you. He does not do all the procedures by himself and his assistant jumps in without notifying you. After the operation, you still feel lots of pain. I will post the details in the near future.

The best dentist experience I ever had. I called Dr. Joe on a weekend night with a dental emergency, never having been a client of his. He not only came to the office to help me but jogged in the rain to get to there. He was able to fix my veneer issue in less than 10 minutes. I had to travel the next day due to a family medical emergency and, when I asked Dr. Piskorowski how much I owed him, he simply said to wish my family all the best and to not worry about it. He was knowledgeable, kind, and a great guy. I HIGHLY recommend him.

Dr. Piskorowski is quite simply the best dentist in Ithaca, NY. Even other dentists see him for their care. He is highly competent, knowledgeable, pays great attention to detail, and is kind. He took care of a complicated dental problem that no other dentist in the region could figure out. I would not see any other dentist in Ithaca or in Central NY.

I went to Dr. P for a second opinion on some expensive dental work. He seemed nice enough at first, but strangely bad-mouthed my other dentist. Later, I had to miss an appointment due to family emergency and had to cancel on short notice. Despite my tearful attempts to explain, he informed me he would not continue seeing me as a patient. Much emotional stress, shockingly unprofessional, watch out.
