The WORDPRO, a digital printing and publishing business founded in 1978 and located in in Ithaca NY, has a decades-long commitment to high-quality digital printing and customer service. In 1982 we built our own modern 12, 000-square-foot production facility. For the next 16 years, we concentrated on our local area market, including introducing the use of the Internet to allow our customers nationwide to upload computer files to us for digital output. In 1996 we became a leading beta-test site for some of the newest digital printing systems. By 1998 we were largely serving the Upstate New York market for digital printing and book publishing. That same year, we went national with book publishing services. We specialize in the printing of short to medium print runs for books, chapbooks, catalogs, and cookbooks ( see The WORDPRO Press ). In 1999, because of our production efficiency and the use of the Internet for file uploads, we began to offer color and black-and-white printing services to the trade nationally. Our excellent quality and fast, efficient service at very low cost made us a great wholesale shop for others in the printing business. In 2008 The WORDPRO entered the fine art and digital photography world with our newest wide-format printer, which allows us to provide state-of-the-art Giclee prints to artists, photographers, designers, and individuals nationally. We provide the finest high-quality prints with up to a 200-year lifetime. Our excellent, professional employees, with over 125 years of combined experience, can produce the highest quality work--on time and on budget.
