I'm new to hunting, this was only my 2nd hunt. Called to book a hunt for the end of the 21/22 season. Spoke with James, he told me he was booked. Bummer, he informed me he could put me on a waiting list, as he gets cancelations time to time. High hopes, sure enough he got back to me a couple days later, and had a spot. Awesome. I informed him of being a new hunter, he said he has professional guides to help me out. I am 61 years old, have been shooting most of my life, sure enough when I arrived the day of the hunt, I met with Aaron the guide. No nonsense gentlemen, very helpful and informative. This was a meat hunt, so I could only shot a spike buck, a doe and hogs. That first night. Saw a nice 4 point buck. Very cool, no shot. No problem, was still excited. 2nd day, had my pick of 3 doe, and a spike boom, shot me one. Took the spike. Can keep writing, but got my doe the next morning. Was a bad shot, and she took off. I text Aaron, he came out, and we looked. But being new to this, and kinda an old fart,I was holding Aaron back.. that afternoon James went out and found my doe. had a blast, am definitely using this outfitter again.

Not near what they claim it is. Hardly any game and low quality. Check out other reviews and forums on these guys. You have been warned.

I wish that 0 stars was a choice. A group of eight of us went there and saw no hogs at all. We hunted from 7: PM to around 1:30 in the morning for a couple of days and saw nothing but raccoons. This is not a real outfitter, as they tried to set some of our bowhunters at 50-60 yards shooting at night.

My son and I hunted hogs with James & Wyatt this passed September and were very happy with our experience! In addition to the wonderful hospitality that we were shown by James and his son, they made the hog hunting experience fun & exciting. Although I did not get a shot (even though I had some hogs near me), my son knocked one down while hunting from a blind that Wyatt had been watching and maintaining all week. We are going back in May. Excellent people, Excellent experience! Highly recommended

very bad experience for our group. they told us about all the game on the ranch. we saw almost nothing! spent a lot of time in the blinds with almost zero game. They seem very shady, when you ask questions of them, they just say we got it bud.

Very bad experience here. Before booking, I would go read real reviews from Texas Hunting Forum or Texas Bowhunter.com . You will see a very similar thread through all the reviews.

I have been to this ranch twice for two day hog hunts. They exhibited professionalism andgame/hunting savvy. Their game is free range so be ready for a challenge. They gave me the best opportunity for a kill. Awesome blinds and ranches to hunt on. Accommodations were great. I highly recommend this out fitter. James and Wyatt are class acts!
