Provided by YP.comThis is the most disgusting place for a "hotel" that I have ever seen. There are bed bugs, filth, drugs, and who knows what else. I asked the manager for her name but she refused to give it to me. She also refused to give me the name of the owner so that I could contact him. The nightly charge changes from day to day, raising your fee to whatever they want. My friend had her credit card charged twice for the same night on more than one occasion. This place is dishonest and needs to be condemned.

Provided by YPmobileMy sister and her 3 baby heat went out in her house. She need to have a warm place for her kids to sleep, so she went here. 1 hour after being there they called down and asked why she was there. The room was in her baby daddy's name. She explained the situation and offered to give them her ID. The man told her no need just needed her name. 45 mins later the police where there. The police said that she refused to leave. (mind you she was never asked to leave). American Best Value then said she needed to go with her 3 babies in the cold middle of the night. She had paid for 3 night, when she asked for her money back she was told no. That she was fighting. Fighting with who the 9yr old, 7 yr old, or the 6 month old baby?? I called to talk to Manager Candi she was rude and nasty. " oh well don't know what to tell you no refund" so she paid for 3 nights got to stay 45 mins and they kept all her money.

On the nights of 11/13/13 and 11/14/13, My daughter and I, along with my 4 yr old granddaughter, were in town for a funeral from Iowa and spent two nights here. The first night we didn't notice anything, but the next night, around midnight, I was reading in my bed and happened to see something on my t-shirt. I looked down and there was a bug crawling across my chest! I had never seen a bed bug before so after catching the bug and putting it in a zip lock bag I pulled up pictures of bed bugs on my phone and that is what I had found! After looking around they were even in the box of tissues on the night stand between the beds. I called the front desk and asked if they had a problem with bed bugs and the night desk guy said "not for awhile". He offered to move us to another room and said to "trap the bug under a cup or something and come to the office in the morning with it and they would refund my money". I took the bug to the office the next morning and they confirmed it was a bed bug. The girl took 50.00 out of the till and asked if that was enough of a refund. It had cost us 66.00 per night to stay there. I told her no and then she gave me 66.00 and said she couldn't refund more than one full night without the managers approval. I asked when the manager would be in and she said not until Monday because he was out deer hunting. I am so terrified that I may have brought some of the bugs home in my belongings! Today is 11/18/13 and I still haven't brought anything into my house. Whatever you do, DO NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL!!!!!!

Provided by YP.comnever ever stay here. When we first got to our room the heat did not work and the room smelled horrible. I went and told the front desk and they said that sometimes the heaters took 10 minutes or so to turn on. I told her we were leaving for a few hours and would report back to her. When we returned, we checked our room and the heat was not working. So we moved rooms. First I need to say that I am a coach and had to rooms reserved next to each other so that I could have the athletes right next to me.
When we settled into our new room everything was fine. The athletes I had with me were two rooms down. After we had fallen asleep I heard someone trying to get into my room and they opened the door with a key. They continued to try to open the door and I yelled hello. The woman explained she was from housekeeping (at 11pm) and thought this room needed cleaned. So, I called to the front desk and told her what happened and her first statement to me was "well, didn't you have your top lock locked". Yes I did that is why they were not standing in my room. She apologized but never offered to come down to my room to check it out. She said that housekeeping must have went to the wrong room.
In the morning I spoke with the front desk and asked if the manager could call me. They told me that he would be in around 11 and asked if he could call me. Well, he never called me so I called back and asked them to have him call me and if he could not call me back to please call me back. They finally called me back the next day and said that the manager wanted me to call him back instead of calling me back.
In my opinion, this motel has lack of consideration for the safety of their guests. Also, the poor customer service. I would never recommend this motel to anyone.
