When I was a teenager I lived a 1126 Burr street I would take the kids we babysit on my three wheel bike and go to DQ for a treat, and now I'm 39yrs old and I live over on 433 S. Dettman Rd. and I still go to DQ in my electric wheelchair but I don't mind if it's 7 to 9 blocks away.

I remember as a little girl going with my Grandparents as a "VERY SPECIAL" treat after Church every Sunday to the Dairy Queen on Elm Street ,always looking forward to and never being disappointed by the wonderful ice cream or the friendly people who took our order.I always loved the dipped cherry cones or the sprinkles!

I hope that they stay right where they are making little kids feel very special! I know I'll never forget how special I felt. And when I'm at home in Jackson Michigan.I never forget to stop with some new little family members to treat them,and tell them my great memories! God Bless an American Tradition!
