Provided by YPmobileAs a former, I guess you could say, tenant. I have first hand experience living here and let me first say that this place has all good intentions, but they are horrible at showing it. As with any place you're going to have the good things and the bad. Let me state the good first. The people whom live there, are beautiful with golden hearts just trying to better themselfs. Of course there are those who don't care to do so and just waste precious resources but most of them, all they want is help and guidance. The staff, however, are rude, disrespectful and down right in-considerate and I feel sorry for anyone who feels they have no choice but to go there for that one reason. And for any staff members reading this..Take this to heart and do something to change! For most of us who stayed there and continue to do so, do you think its easy for us to ask for help, to be in the situation we were in/still are? All we wanted is your help and guidance but instead we got disrespected and talked to like we are children and your better than us. The level of disrespect some of the staff had and most likely still do is obsurd and completely uncalled for. Now again, I am not saying all the staff there are like that, but the ones who are make this place look horrible and for the managers and director. I suggest you re evaluate certain stafg members and make this place be what its meant to be. A beautiful, helpful blessing that has so much potential but you have baggage that's holding you back. Now I am not some disgruntled ex-shelteran who has an evil agenda to ruin a reputation. I'm merely speaking of what I saw and experienced when I was there. Its a beautiful place like I said. But those people don't deserve to be treated the way they are by some of the staff. They asked for your help! Not your personal vendetta and disrespectful attitudes. Good luck JIS! You are in my prayers.
