Could be so much better

Although the staff is friendly and the restaurant is very good to the City of Jackson and its citizens, the food leaves a lot to be desired. I'm afraid they are complacent because they have almost no competition in town. Their pizza is mediocre, sometimes bad... not even made consistently. The take home pizza is even more risky and sometimes is awful. The salad bar is its best effort, but the salad is poor...who wants salad with shredded lettuce? I would say the pizza sauce is just sort of tasteless. The crust is nothing to get excited about. Combined with inconsistent pizza making...you never know if your pizza will be tolerable or bad. But it is NEVER GOOD.
