I love this store! Whenever I'm in search of jewelry, I always go to Carter Jewelers. They have a wonderful selection of jewelry as well as friendly staff. Give Carter Jewelers a try and you will never shop anywhere else. Tell Tomica I sent you! :)

My husband and I started using Carter Jewelers when we upgraded our wedding rings. We purchased two beautiful rings for a wonderful price. Our sales representative was Tomika. She was so helpful and attentive. We purchased our rings approximately 3 years ago, we still shop at Carter Jewelers and only shop with Tomika.

My now husband bought my engagement ring here. About a week after he proposed to me, I went to Carter's with my mother to look for a matching wedding band (because it has diamonds on the top and both sides of the setting). First George, who sold it to my husband, had no record or recollection of the sale, even though it had just occurred. Then, they did not have any bands that matched, and they were unwilling to order or make me a matching wedding band. (Who sells an engagement ring that you can't match to a wedding band?) Therefore, we had a semi-custom Tacori wedding band made through another long-time jeweler in town. That should have been our first alert...

Within about the first year, one of the side stones fell out. We took it in to Carters. George again couldn't find evidence of the sale. We asked if they could fix the missing stone, and they said they could not. So of course, we went to the other jeweler who sold us the wedding band and had them fix it. Now, we've been married for 3.5 years, and I've had 4 different diamonds fall out of the top and sides of the setting. Since we moved out of state 3 years ago, we have had it repaired by various reputable jewelers. Today I called to ask Carter's whether they could stand behind this problematic setting. A gruff woman basically told me that any warrantee that we would have had (but we were never told about) would be null because we had others fix it. I explained that we live out of state and that the first time we tried to get it repaired there was unsuccessful. She then tried to blame those that had repaired it, even though this makes no sense since it is different stones that have fallen out. She implied that I've had the ring for almost 4 long years, so I shouldn't expect it to hold up. I explained that we're getting frustrated rebuilding the ring one pave setting at a time and are now looking at buying another setting. She offered no assistance at all. If you want to buy jewelry that lasts, AVOID CARTERS. All the advertisement in the world can't fix a bad reputation. For the last 25 years, my father bought most of the jewelry he gave my mother, my sister, and me from Carters. While my dad was loyal to them, they are not loyal to their customers! No one in my family will every go in there again.

For five years now I have shopped at Carter Jewelers. They have a wide selection of fine jewelry along with Pandora and watches, to which I have purchased. They stand behind their merchandise. Also, they have a wonderful repair department. I have brought old jewelry in to have repaired. The repairs were done fast and my jewelry looks brand new. I have always been treated with respect and the customer service is excellent. The sales staff is always friendly and courteous and if you have any questions they are right there to answer them. I do not feel that they are crowding me; on the contrary, they are very helpful. Unlike other places where you have to beg for assistance and the employees at Carter Jewelers are at hand to answer any questions you may have about your purchases. I have been and will continue to be a customer of Carter Jewelers.

Carter's fixed my ring and it looks better than it did when I bought it.

When you walk in Carter Jewelers the Sales people Greet you with a warm smile. I have to say "they waste no time meeting the needs and helping with all your jewelry needs". The store is ran with daily management from the looks of things. The selection of Jewelry is of a plenty and it is showcased beautifully and don't forget Jewelry repairs the same day in most cases. It is easy for an Unhappy person to bash ones business but, I think its fair to say always give Carter Jewelers a chance to make things right the have always been very fair to me.

I enjoyed my experience at Carter Jewelers. Tomica was so sweet and helpful. I got the perfect ring. I will refer people to Carter's.

I have been doing business with Carter's for almost 15 years and have been more than satisfied with their prices, policies, and customers service. I have also shopped at many other jewelry stores and have found the shopping experience and value to be far superior at Carter Jewelers.

Do not buy anything from Carter's!! I bought a ring and diamond that they had listed in the case for $10,500. I paid $7500+tax and now find out through two independent appraisals that the ring is only worth $1500. Mr. Lake offered to buy it back for $1800. They make a living on jewelry fraud!!!
