Provided by YP.comBad Attitude
They are nice to you when they are selling you the job but dare to question them and the owner and his wife come at you in a nasty and argumentative way. They don't stand behind their work. Stay clear of this pool company.

Provided by YP.comA slap in the face? yea ok they left manahawkin because all you people did was complain about their prices and ran them out of town. I'm a good customer with calabreeze Pools and they are doing everything they can to accomidate me. They are comming to my house and testing my water. Offer free chemical delivery also. And letting Bruce's brother run the business... YEA OK you're funny. And to the top one.. Lady you sound like you live for drama and do nothing but complain. People make mistakes things happen get over it already!!

Provided by YP.comThese people should not be in business. They don't know anything about customer service. They are over the top rude. They got an F rating from BBB for poor service and I can see why. They look for extra ways to charge you money. Bruce should let his brother run the business. Please take this warning.... Do not do business with them.

Provided by YP.comNo Refunds or Returns or Exchanges!
My eighty year old Mom tried to purchase a part for her pool. Turns out she purchased the wrong part. I explained that we understood their return policy and did not want money back, but asked them if they would take back the item in exchange for products or supplies because we never opened the box. Cost her $259.00 plus tax and they would not take the wrong part back.
Buyers Beware! This business has an F rating with BBB!
Thieves!

Provided by YP.comI agree wholeheartedly with your story! And closing at an early 3PM on a "Sunday", a very popular "swimming day", ie. wknd. day, "hello, most of us work during the week!" And this wknd. day is a, in my opinion, crucial day for supplies, i.e. shock for when the kids swim all day and much needed! And salt in the wound, closed on Mondays! Ur killing me Bruce! Tell me your return policy has surely changed this ladies 2009 posting? For if not, I don't put a foot thru that door.

Provided by YP.comI decided to go into Calabreeze pools to pick up some items for my husband to close our pool. Dragging along my 3 year old I head into the store. I get the shock, pillow and pool cover. I get the whole explanation of how wonderful the cover is and it's warranty etc etc. As I am being rung up at the register my son is now trying to play with things in the store and grabbing my attention. I hand my credit card over, and honestly I didn't even ask what the total was I just needed to get out of there and back to my 3 week old twins at home. 3/4 of the way home I look down and my receipt for $85.55!! WHAT?? I read down to the bottom of the receipt to see the $59.99 pool cover that I was just charged for! I definitely do not need nor can justify the cost of such a cover for my little 15' round above ground pool. I save the receipts and send my husband in to return the cover. He is greeted by the owner Bruce who tells him that they do not accept returns. He points to the tiny paper sign on the door which says this. My husband shows him the obviously unopened package, still with packing straps intact. Still Bruce will not accept the return. I can understand not returning pool chemicals or opened/used merchandise. But unopened?? I do not understand why the owner would not have the integrity to do the right thing and take the return. That 60.00 return would have guaranteed my future business. Instead I am on here with my complaint and I am telling all I know to never use this company again. Again, I understand the policy when it comes to used things but I think this is extremely unfair and I believe that I was completely taken advantage of! Buyers Beware!!

Provided by YP.comI have avoided going to a pool store with a water sample fearing that they'd sell me lots of unnecessary chemicals. Well, about 50 lbs of shock and algecide later, pool still being green, I decided to face my fear. Into Calabreeze I go. They tested my water for free, explained what was wrong and set me up with what I needed. Nothing more, nothing less. The guys in the store are very friendly and really know what they are talking about. My pool began to clear almost immediately. My Labor Day party is saved!! Well, at least the pool will be clear!
