Provided by YP.comI recently left my puppy to be boarded at Boyd Veterinary Clinic, but never again! she developed diarrhea while there and was allowed to sit on her feces-matted bottom which caused a painful sore to develop under her tail. When Dr Boyd examined her, he failed to mention the sore under her tail, which makes me wonder why I spent a whopping $57. It was only when I took her back to her regular vet that she got the treatment she needed.

Provided by YP.comWe have brought our herd (cats and dogs) to Dr Boyd for the past 12 years while stationed at LRAFB and we've continued to come back to Boyd to board and occasional services when we come to visit from AZ. Not only are the staff EXCELLENT, but their pricing is extremely reasonable. We LOVE Boyd Clinic and will continue to swing through because Dr Boyd is hands down the BEST vet we've ever had!! Thanks, Dr Boyd and team!!!

Provided by YP.comI have been all around the world, and have never been in a clinic where they got in the floor to love all over my pet. From the moment I walked in I knew this clinic was different , because it was so clean and smelled good. Dr Boyd was very nice and answered all of my questions. All of the employees were so nice and very loving to my pet. I read some of the negative comments and cant imagine any of this at this clinic.

Provided by YP.comBest Vet clinic I have ever taken my animals to. The staff is wonderful and caring. Beth and Amanda are two of the nicest most professional people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. If I HAD to write one negative thing about Boyd's it would be that Lacey is on the moody side at times. She is generally nice but seems a little impatient at times. I have been using Boyd's for almost 6 years now and have never had one complaint though. Wonderful girls!!!! See you soon!!!

Provided by YP.comI have been using Boyd Veterinary clinic for many years and have had excellent service from them. The staff has also been friendly and courteous and went out of their way to help us when our dog was dying of cancer. After reading the complaints on this site I can only assume that the authors have problems where ever they go. Do they get greeted by their physician when they go to be seen? NO, they are greeted by a lay medical person. Why is it important to be greeted by the Veterinarian (Ego). this is a great clinic with great staff. Love em.

Provided by YPmobileI have taken my dogs to Dr. Boyd for years & years. He always provides me information on what my dogs have wrong with them, and what can be done and what to watch for in his health.
The staff is always ready to help on the phone and in person. This is the most caring clinic I have ever been to. I can not believe anyone could have any complaints. I board my dogs there and they take such wonderful care of them.
One of dogs requires grooming and Pam always does such a great job.
The front office is so WONDERFUL and CARING! They make a great beginning
to office. This is only the beginning of the care you receive from this great clinic. Any of the negative comments are completely unfounded. Try this clinic and I'am sure you will agree with me.

Provided by YPmobileI have read some of the previous reviews and am in disbelief on the reviews! I have used Dr Boyd since he bought this practice. Not only is he ALWAYS professional but goes the extra mile to make sure that your pet gets the care they need. I had a dog who had a heart condition and when Dr Boyd found the condition he had no problem recommending a specialist that could better treat the problem. He even called the specialist to keep up with his prognosis. That is just one of the thousand of examples of what a great Dr he is. He is also a vet with a big heart for animals, as noted by the clinic cats he keeps that were previous orphaned cats. There is a painted picture of his beloved Brittney which is his dog he had for many years. His patients became familiar with her also as she greeted the patients at the door. He is a wonderful person and doctor and I would recommend him to anyone!
As for Dr Boyd's staff, they too are wonderful! Beth, Lacy, and Amanda are more than just the office staff they have become trusted friends. I can call anytime and just telling them my pets name they know who I am and are willing to help out anyway they can. They have the biggest hearts there! They love their patients! My dogs get excited upon seeing Amanda or Beth and they all are willing to love on and accept wet kisses from my dogs. These women make the clinic! They are amazing! Pam, the groomer has groomed my dogs for years and she always has done an amazing job! She loves her job and it shows through the way she treats her animals she grooms.
The negative comments must come from people who either like to complain or can never be pleased! I have never had a negative experience in my 15+ years of coming! Love them all! Highly recommend!

Provided by YP.comTerrible office staff! They are rude and unprofessional. I am not comfortable leaving my pets in their care. My dog was treated harshly and pulled to the back of the office. At no time did they stop and try to talk to him and calm him down. The office staff is all you see when you go in unless you specifically request to see Dr. Boyd. In my past experience, the Doctor always meets with the owners when a procedure of any kind is done. Poor communication and dishonest. When I stated that I have not met Dr. Boyd, two of the office staff argued that I had met him the day before. When did it become okay to argue with customers? How can they argue whether or not I have met someone? I will be NOT be using them again! Dr. Boyd may be fabulous but it's the rest of the staff that your pet is subjected to 99% of the time. No thank you!!

Provided by YP.comI took my dog to Dr. Boyd to be neutered, teeth cleaned and microchipped. All three things were done to my satisfaction. It's the rest of the services that are the problem. The office staff is rude if you have a problem (yelling, arguing, slamming doors) and he was not monitored closely while in the kennel before or after surgery. My dog removed his stitches the first night home so he had to go back for suturing. He removed his sutures (for the second time) while in their care and they want me to pay to put them in again. His $20 leash was left on him while in the kennel the first day and he ate the end off it. That too is out of my pocket and all you get from them is an argument that they never leave the leashes on them. The entire staff says one thing but when you bring it up after there is a problem, you are given a different story (in their favor, of course). I will be finding another vet to remove the sutures. HORRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL!

Provided by YP.comWould definitely not recommend this clinic. While Dr. Boyd was very nice, he was NOT knowledgeable about the problems my pet had. Was also not good with follow up care after my pets surgery.

Provided by YP.comWe picked this vet based on the type of credit card they took. We were leaving town and needed to use pet boarding, when we dropped the dogs off we asked again making sure they took the credit card we had, they confirmed and we went on vacation. A week later we went to pick up our dogs and pay for their services and they inform up that they no longer take the credit card we have because they switched computer systems. They we unwilling to compromise or even see that they had told us a week before that they took our card. The women were very rude and I strongly recommend you go with a different clinic, where they stick to what they tell you.
