My favorite at Athens Cafe is the whole red snapper, but the other fish is good, too, for my family members and friends who don't like to contend with the bones.

HORRIBLE SERVICE

HORRIBLE SERVICE, SODA WAS FLAT, INCORRECT FOOD BROUGHT OUT... THOSE COULD BE EXCUSED IF I DIDNT HAVE TO WAIT 20 MINUTES AFTER I COMPLETED MY FOOD FOR THE SERVER TO REAPPEAR TO GET THE CHECK AND A TO GO SODA. SODA WAS BROUGHT IN A COFFEE CUP... ON CHECKING OUT THE GROUP IN FRONT OF US WAS GREETED AND TALKING TO THE CASHIER BUT WHEN OUR TURN CAME TO CHECK OUT WE WERE BARELY ACKNOWLEDGED. THIS HAS BEEN THE SECOND TIME IN A ROW THAT SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE, I HAVE BEEN TO THIS CAFE NUMEROUS TIMES AND ALWAYS THOUGHT HIGHLY OF IT BUT AFTER THESE LAST TWO ENCOUNTERS I DO NOT FORESEE MYSELF EVER ENTERING IT AGAIN NOR SUGGESTING IT TO ANYONE ELSE. I WOULD UNDERSTANDA LITTLE MORE IF THEY WERE BUSY BUT NOT EVEN HALF A DOZEN TABLE WERE OCCUPIED, PEOPLE WHO CAME IN AFTER US WERE TAKEN CARE OF BEFORE US, THAT IS JUST RUDE AND HORRIBLE SERVICE. THE WAITER NEEDS TO LEARN IF HE WANTS A TIP HE NEEDS TO DO HIS JOB!
