This review is a review of a Phone call for service provided in Kentucky. The caller at the number 904-619-5771 asked if I would answer questions about my brake service. Since I am in Kentucky I asked why someone with an area code 904 was calling me. I told the caller I suspected a spam call and told no I don't do cold calls. The caller called me a moron, I told him to F'off, he curse me and it went back and forth. MY COMPLAINT is not he curse me since I did the same. It is WHO THE HECK Ok'ed this guy for customer calling service?

Called and made an appointment for my Mom based on their TV advertisement of complete brake job for $139. My Mom called me from the shop and of course it was the typical bait and switch. The new price was almost $300. I spoke directly with the mechanic myself and he gave me some BS story about $139 just covers the pads and he can't guarantee to stop the squealing, blah blah blah. That is not what the advertisement says so I told my Mom to retrieve her vehicle and we will take it to a reputable establishment even it means more money.

Been here for a couple of brake changes and they do a nice job. They replaced my pads and rotors when they were going bad last week.Dealer would have charged hundreds. They charged me Less than $300. So kudos for the good service and price.

I came here after the brakes on my PT Cruiser started really grinding from the brake pads being worn. I had previously changed just one of my brake pads because I heard only one side starting to grind but quickly realized that if I hear one side, I should probably change both. After calling a few places in the area and getting a lot of the usual rude and blunt auto shop talk on the phone, I decided to go to Brakes 4 Less. Unlike other places that said I could drop my car off and it would probably be ready the next day, these guys said they could get started on it right away.



The folks there were very courteous and very detailed about what exactly was wrong with my brakes. Unlike the last shop I went to who agreed to fix a problem and not tell me about another, Rob from Brakes 4 Less explained that not only were my brake pads worn, but my rotors were basically destroyed from the constant grinding. I thought this would immediately put me over my budget, but they worked with me and I was still in my range. I won't forget what they did to help me out when I really needed it and being honest the entire way through. No wonder there are so many regulars that have been going there for years. They go there because of the honesty and integrity. This is now my shop of choice, too.

Had my brakes worked on and actually cost less than I had expected. They even got it done on the same day within a couple hours. Cool.

I had my rotors resurfaced and new brake pads installed here. When I brought my car in staff greeted me and spent the time to understand the issue my car was having (vibration under braking). I left my car with them since they were busy with other cars. Before they started work on my car the technician gave me a call letting me know what work would be done. Bringing my car to Brakes for Less was quick and painless and the price was fantastic.
