In the 18 years of school experience, my family experienced the worst possible experience anyone could ever imagine at this school in 1 year. I am so sorry that my children endured the emotional distress, the demoralization and poor self-esteem distributed by their teachers. They and their peers were yelled at, experienced fist fights in their class with no repercussion, teachers taking personal calls during class. My children knew all about the young teachers divorce she was going through as she had several yelling matches with her soon to be ex in front of the kids. They knew about her phone bill being late, etc. When brought to the attention of the Principal, Greg Stickel, he either never replied or deferred to vice-principal who always made excuses for the teacher. I witnessed a special needs child get a suspension which they give out like it is water. I could name at least 6 great kids who received suspensions without any warnings. It makes you wonder if there is a race for the teacher who could give the most suspensions in the school year. The owner of this Charter School really needs to evaluate who he put in leadership and the staff that is representing his school. I am not sure he even cares as this is a business for him. I really hope that all parents in this school really take a close look at those who are teaching and leading their children.
