Great food, clean restaurant and great service.

Service has always been excellent. I don't know how the servers do it. So many of the people who go, eat like slobs, waste food, leave such a mess on the tables, under the tables. I feel for the servers and always try to leave a nice tip. I understand a new site is being built behind the Walgreens down a ways on Normandy. They do need more room. I just hate to see another site trashed everyday like this one is. I go to eat here on rare occasions during the week- early. I enjoy the food. Just hate the atmosphere. So many rude, ill-mannered, people with no table manners. They slump over their food and shovel it in. Pile their plates up 6 inches, leave most of it and run off for another full plate. So I have to give it a one star just for atmosphere. Service is great, Food (especially the salad bar) is good. I try not to go there at all during flu season because of the cross contamination on serving utensils. They have removed the plates and silverware now from the center aisles which helps with that. Just go, sit over by the salad bar out of the way, if you can. Never go on the weekend! I call it "THE TROUGH" ....just like a bunch of pigs...it is so gross, demoralizing, and depressing. We could feed all the homeless on Westside with the food that is wasted everyday at this restaurant. I do appreciate the nice polite people who do eat at this restaurant, but they are truly outnumbered. I do appreciate the staff at this restaurant...they all have the patience of Job. I commend them.

We visited a Jax location only to realize the food was cold and stale. We were denied a refund despite leaving FULL plates at the table. The district manager offered coupons.......why would I return to a place that insulted and frustrated me. Beware, if you prefer fresh food you may wish to select a different venue. Zero customer service. Now I am out 14 bucks, am still hungry, and now I am completely upset. Thank you district manager Charlie Peneda.......you dropped the ball on this one.

Hillbilly and redneck heaven

With some Golden Corral's it is a hit or miss and this is definetely a HIT. Hot fresh food not too salty and wonderful service.
