The friendly and efficient office staff has been a Godsend for me on more than one occasion in assisting my efforts to coordinate new leasing opportunities as well as working me in at the last minute when an emergency arises. I use them for my own home as well and I couldn't be more pleased. Ashley in the office has saved me embarrassment very recently when I had unexpected visitors plan to stay with me in my own home..As a busy professional with both time and monetary constraints, I highly recommend JC Total services. Thanks again for all that you do

Provided by YP.comI setup JC for yard care for a rental property. Was very happy initially that they could commence service so quickly. During my initial phone call and estimate, the customer service rep quoted me a price for additional services of trimming palm fronds (an extra $5 per cut). This service was quoted after my yard was view on google maps.
My renters informed me that several weeks had passed after commencing service that the palm trees hadn't been trimmed yet. I called the office to politely inform them that the palm trees had not been trimmed. I was told they were going to get it taken care of. Fast forward approx. 10 days later, the trees have not been not been trimmed. I call again, inform the rep who answers the phones about the issue, she tells me she'll let the crew know to trim them. Fast forward another week, still no trimming. I call last week (July 2nd) and the person the phone ensures me they will be done. I find out today, July 9th, that the trees have not been trimmed.
I call the office and get the rep who answers the phones, and I tell her I've called four times to get the service completed and she puts me on hold to talk to someone else. I eventually get the owner of the company who unfortunately tells me that he can't trim the palm fronds, its not included in the service, and that "no one would have given me a quote of $5, only I give quotes, and our website clearly says its not included. It will cost $15 per tree for each trim.)
This was very frustrating. The money wasn't the issue. The issue was that the the previous four conversations were simply wasted time as I was told repeatedly they would be taken care of. I tell the owner that I will unfortunately have to use another service provider, and he continues to quote that he just can't do it for $5, it would "cost him more to dispose of the palm fronds" (this confuses me, as my neighborhood recycles yard waste for free". I tell him I am disappointed that its arrived to this point, and I inform him to better his service and future customers that things like this should be avoided in the future by improving their new customer on-boarding process. He begins to quote his customer portfolio is 500 customers, and that he's been operating for 14 years to rebuff my suggestions, as a customer, on where they could improve in the future. He wasn't interested in anything I had to say, which is unfortunate for a local small business owner.
In the end, they are not customer service oriented and they are not organized at the administrative level.

Provided by YP.comI just wanted to thank you for the continued good service on my lawn. This may sound silly but I really appreciate that my gate is closed after you leave every time. I can't tell you how many times over the years various landscapers left a gate open and then I come home, let the dog out and end up chasing him through the neighborhood. I've never had to do that with you guys. Anyway, just wanted to say thank you. It's the little things that mean a lot.

Provided by YP.comI see a few people here that have good things to say about JC total lawn care. I'm not one of them. Maybe it's because I used them with a Groupon I purchased for 2 services. Horrible, horrible service from beginning to end. Everything from the TRYING to contact the owner and TRYING to schedule a day for them to cut my lawn, to the terrible job they did cutting the lawn-it was all just a terrible company to deal with. You couldn't schedule a day, when they felt like coming they would come. They mowed my lawn so fast and sloppy they never saw the new scrubs we planted and mowed right over one. Nope, no re-reimbursement for that. They didn't mow with a bag so there was grass clippings all over the place. They refused to honor my groupon and come for the 2nd of the 2 services I purchased. THey said I already used it!!! They didn't want to, simple as that. No communication with this company. They won't talk to you,only email you one line responses. I didn't even want to give this company a one star, they were that bad. Can't find one good thing to say about them.
Customer paid $8 to have the yard cut and expected us to provide a full service. Customer also tried to reuse coupon after she used the up both her cuts. I used email to prevent someone from reusing the groupon. I kept records to prevent fraud. Here is a copy of her request. "Ok, I don't know exactly what other info you need for the 2nd request? If you can come Saturday morning the 27th we would REALLY, REALLY appreciate it."

My son agrees, it's more fun throwing the ol sheepskin around, than helpin dad with the house cleaning. I would describe them as kind, curtious, professional and trustworthy. Provided by YP.comJC Total has been cleaning our home for the past several years. We appreciate the personal touches and flexibility they afford us with our changing work schedule. It is nice to work with a service company that understands customer serviceand on that you can fully trust and not worry about leaving valuables laying about. I highly recommend this outfit.
