Mark Weber, M.D., completed medical school at the International University of Health Sciences in the West Indies, followed by a residency in family medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. Prior to medical school, he obtained his master's degree as a physician assistant from Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania, and his Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University.Prior to joining the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville as an assistant professor, Dr. Weber taught at Oral Roberts University College of Medicine in Oklahoma, and the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania.Dr. Weber has completed more than 50 international medical mission trips to underserved sites across the globe, primarily in North Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Dr. Weber has published numerous publications and presented on a number of topics including ultrasound-guided procedures in primary care, team building, international medical missions and effective pedagogical practices.
