We purchased nearly $60.00 in party supplies and provided a $10 off $25 coupon. A week later we returned to the store to return a few items that were not needed for the party.



Candie, the apparent clerk yet Director of Sarcasm, indicated that since we were returning an item it would cancel the $10 off coupon. I indicated the total was still way over the $25 minimum as stated on the coupon. I asked for the written details that indicate such policy. She directed me to the bottom of the receipt that stated "other return policies apply". REALLY, so the store ownership is running such a scam you need to download the company policies to read the "fine print".



I asked for the manager, and Candie stated that person was not at this store. Since she was obiously clueless I wanted the contact information, I inquired and she gave the owner's information.



I called the other store and wouldn't you know it, the owner was nowhere to be found. Sounds like this is a pattern with this store's management philosophy.



Take my advice, go to Party City. They treat you like a REAL customer.
