Spoke with Mike on a Wednesday about a small job to cut and cap a propane gas line. The next day he had Dexter come out a assess the situation. Dexter came back the next day with the needed parts and completed the job in about one hour at a very fair price. Very happy with the quality and level of service Progas provided to me.

This was the worst experience ever. They sent a tech out to my house to fix a problem I was having with my gas range. I already knew what the problem was, I just needed it fixed. The tech was there for all of 5 minutes and did not have the part he needed to fix it and told me he was waiting for a call back from the office to get me a price on the part. This all happened on a Friday. Come Monday afternoon when I had still heard nothing from them I called the office only to be told that tech hadn't ever come back to the office but when he does they will be sure to look into the part and get back to me. Why the tech couldn't give them the information over the phone so that I didn't have to wait for days is beyond me. So finally on Tuesday I hear from them only to be told they have to order the part and it will take 2-3 weeks for it to be delivered. When I asked them why they couldn't order from another supplier they said they just don't. I ended up looking the part up online myself and ordering it for cheaper than what they were offering AND it was delivered to me in 4 business days. When I called them to let them know the part was in they told me that it would be 2 weeks before they could get another tech out to install it. Having reached my limit I called another company, he was able to schedule me for the next day. I called ProGas to let them know that I wouldn't be needing them and they had the NERVE to try and charge me for the initial 5 minute visit where the tech "diagnosed" a problem I already knew I had and then did nothing, proceeded to not call me, and attempt to put me off for a month. It turns out, their tech missed 2 other problems, one of them being a leaking gas line, and the repair man who did end upcoming out from another company didn't even charge me because he couldn't fix all the issues! Now they are still calling me trying to negotiate how much I owe them. Needless to say, this is a lame excuse for a company. Do NOT use them for anything!!!
