Provided by YP.comTerrible service. We had used quality plus to clean the carpets in a townhouse a few years ago and had been reasonably satisfied. We were charged a higher price this time around to clean a smaller residence. The company refused to honor a coupon on their website stating that the coupon was only for "regular service"; incidentally, the coupon made NO mention of this or any condition. The carpets still looked dirty following the service, but the technician simply shrugged and said, "Well, the carpets are just old." When we called to discuss the level of service, the woman who took our call was indignant and borderline rude. Absolutely would not recommend this service to anyone.

Provided by YP.comZERO STARS. My wife had a $70 house coupon. That turned into $250 scam. She was charged an extra $35 for pet odor stains, no big deal. Then they added $137 for a “deep scrub technique”. Complete rip off! I’m sure other carpet cleaning companies will take advantage if you let them.

Provided by YP.comI had 1 bedroom and hallway done on 5/5/2012 by QUALITY PLUS CARPET & ULPHOSTERY. I found a coupon in the Money Pages for $25 2 rooms and free hall. My Hoover steam vacuum broke and couldn't I was unable to clean my carpet for a week. Thinking it would be cheaper to hire professional carpet cleaners rather than buying a new steam vacuum, I decided to contact Quality Plus. Upon arrival and inspection of the bedroom Tony quoted me $170 for the pet odor and warranty. I told him I’m unprepared for this expense as I never thought it would cost so much for 1 bedroom. He gave me a second quote for $140 with no warranty. Due to financial difficulties I settled for $140. My bedroom smelled fresh for only 1 day. However, on 5/6/2012 the carpet had a pungent smell. It had an extremely sour odor! I was told to wait 3 days to see how it goes and I finally called Tony on 5/9/2012 to tell him that I am dissatisfied with the results and the stench was actually even worst than before. In addition, the technicians left a trail of black marks on the carpeted stairway (all 15 steps!).
Tony and I scheduled for May 14th as another follow carpet treatment. I mentioned to him I am not going to pay additional money and I just want them to fix the problem. We agreed on 5-6pm for this process to be done. He arrived late (6:45pm) and just came in to assess the carpet. He told me I need to pay additional $30 to cover warranty, his effort to carry the machine and gas.
I emailed the owner, Brian Smith on 5/14/2012 explaining that I am a dissatisfied clientele. This owner never responded to my email. On 5/17/2012 I called their company and asked to speak directly to the owner. Since he wasn’t around the receptionist asked for my contact details so Brian can contact me. That afternoon Ashley from Quality Plus called me and said that the owner received my email. Since I don’t have a warranty they are not going to fix the problem unless I pay additional $30. The services rendered didn’t meet the client’s expectations so I am surprised that instead of being apologetic and offering a solution to fix the problem Ashley was just rude to me. I asked to speak directly to the owner and she said she’s the one who handles these complaints. In the end, Ashley still didn’t even offer to settle the problem for free and the only option was pay $30. It was comparable to a take it or leave it offer. I find it unbelievable that the owner doesn’t even have the decency to appease an upset customer even after reading my email.
Brian Smith’s very own words on his company’s website states “ My company not only offers a wide variety of cleaning services to you and your family, but we also deliver outstanding customer service and back all of our work with our 100 % Money Back Guarantee”. In my own personal experience, I wasted my $140 since this company would not even fix the problem and was going to charge me more. Their customer service is definitely not outstanding. They are rude and falsely advertises their 100% money back guarantee, in fact they wanted to charge me extra money instead of trying to fix the problem without additional cost. Also the all price quotes on their company’s website and coupons on Money Pages magazine is not accurate. They entice you with low prices but when they get to your house all of a sudden the price increases drastically! Quality Plus’ prices are very misleading and the customers suffer in the end.
First of all this customers carpet was in terrible condition and did require additional services. She deceided not to go with our recommendations and expected us to come back for free. No business can survive working for free. As far as better business bueau, we choose not to be accredited by them and 6 complaints (which were all closed) is not bad out of over 10,000 happy customers. Don't be fooled by reviews from people who expect us to work for free as we do not. You can not please everyone as we do try. We strive to build our business on repeat and referrels. My carpet is a very light turquoise and my sofa and loveseat are very light yellow. They look better than they ever have. Eric took his time - listened to me and my concerns - which was very important to me. I have had my carpets cleaned many times by other companies and I must say this is absolutely the best my carpets have ever looked. I'm sure your other techs do just as well but I was very impressed with Eric's knowledge and the job he did. I am sold on you guys and will continue to use you every 6 months. Provided by YP.comWe requested Quality Plus Carpet & Upholstery Care to come to our home because we had seen their trucks and their ads for six rooms for about $69.95. When they came to our home, we were told that we not only had to pay the advertised price, but we also had to pay $59.95 for a maintenance cleaning. The charges added up until the carpet cleaning was more than $300. We had questions about two charges and sent messages to Brian twice, but never received responses. It has been less than three weeks. The pet stains we paid $145 to remove are back. When vacuuming last week, we realized that the couch had not been pushed back (it sits in the middle of the floor) and the soda stain was still there. The one thing we are happy with is the upholstery cleaning. They did a good job on that. The next time we decide to have carpets professionally cleaned, we will call someone else.
