What else can I say but absolutely terrible. I saw this on a hireahelper site so I wrongfully thought that they were vetted and trustworthy. Valuables were missing, items were poorly packed. I had a very nice and cheap initial quote but it ends up being way more due to their inefficiency. I believe this was done on purpose to drive up the price. The owner was rude and dismissive. I have moved many times while living in Jacksonville and have never had an experience as bad as this one. Look elsewhere. This has to be the worst moving company in Jacksonville.

I wish I could give zero stars. Very expensive jewelry was stolen from me during this move. Additionally, while we were quoted a low price it ended up being much more. The movers were slow and had to repack the truck several times. The owner was very nasty to me. I have never experienced such poor customer service.

I had a last minute move and given River City Movers information by a friend. They were on time. and the price is right. If you're looking for a moving company, give them a call.

I decided to write this review to tell everyone about the great job River city moving did for us. The owner was one of the movers and he worked as hard as the other two guys. That just doesn't happen these days. The rates are more than fair. I moved a 3 bedroom apartment from the third floor to our new home, for less than $500.00. If you're moving, do yourself a favor, and call River city moving and storage.

I'm a single mother, with two kids. Money is tight, but I needed to move. I called many moving companies, but they were above my budget. I kept hearing about this company River city movers, so I called. I explained my budget was $300.00, and I want all the big things moved. These guys came and got the entire apartment moved in 4 hours, for only $330.00. They're called the working man's mover. Well they worked great for this WOMAN also. Give they guys a call, they are the real DEAL.... Thank you River city movers.

I called River City Moving & Storage last minute because the mover I hired didn't show. The manager was great. They got a crew out to me within 2 hours, and did a wonderful job. The rates didn't change because of the situation, and they were cheaper than the movers who didn't show. You can't go wrong with these guys...

FOUND THIS COMPANY ON A LOCAL SEARCH FOR MOVERS. THERE PRICES WERE A LOT CHEAPER THAN SOME OF THE BIG COMPANIES, SO I HIRED THEM TO MOVE ME. i WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THE CARE THEY HAD WITH MY FURNITURE AND THEY WERE EVEN NICE ENOUGH TO GIVE ME A FEW BOXES FOR NO CHARGE. I WOULD RECOMMED THEM TO ANY ONE. GREAT COMPANY!

Found this company on super pages. The crew that was sent out was wonderful. I have heard so many stories about moving companies but these guys were the best.
