Dishonest people here. Tried to get me to scrap my car by saying the engine needed to be replaced due to broken timing belt. Had it towed to Stevenson and the engine was fine, just replaced belt and pump, good as new.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! They will RIP YOU OFF!! They are dishonest and do bad mechanic work. After putting me through the ringer I will never go back there. PAY MORE IF YOU HAVE TO, But DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!! I would give zero stars if I could.

Over Priced parts and side of terrible customer service!

This place is the worst car care business I've been to. The work done was great, but being charged an outrageous amount for the repair was very disappointing. Dealerships don't even charge the amount this place did. I was told that the parts I needed and it was going to be approx $900 for parts and labor, and when I checked with the dealer and autozone it was significantly cheaper($120 for one part and $140 for the other)! The customer service of this establishment was horrible! Never going back, not recommending it to anyone!

Trustworthy

One of the most trusted shops I have delt with. Took my vehicle in becuase there was a vibration. They were able to find the problem and have it fixed the same day. I am pleased with their service.

I have had a problem for some time with my ford van about wearing tires out fast. I have taked it to 3 different places to get my vehicle from stop wearing out the front tires. I decided to take it to Dougs Car Care. After they did alignment, they asked me to bring it back in 1000 miles to assure the tires are wearing correclty. That was 6 months ago, and as of now, my tires are wearing as they should. They are an honest repair shop and they are the only ones that wanted to make sure the vehicle was fixed. Thank you Dougs Car Care.

Taken Advantage Of?

Taken Advantage of?Recently, my daughter went down to Camp Lejeune to see a close friend off to Afghanistan. Unfortunately, she had car trouble near the fort in Jacksonville, NC. The car was taken to Doug’s Car care in Jacksonville and they were told that it seemed like a spark plug was misfiring. They checked and found two plugs that were bad. They also said the ignition coil needed to be replaced.Sparkplugs for this vehicle (5 plugs) cost 2.25 to $3 a piece. Volvo ignition coil costs $69.97 These are retail prices and the coil is cheaper if you get Bosch. They charged $44.95 for 5 plugs and $137.89 for the coil.In total, to replace the 5 plugs and ignition coil, they charged $477.50.
