Sleep study results are available in 1-2 weeks in 99% of the time and are read and interpreted by experienced board certified sleep specialist-pulmonologist and never beyond 3 weeks. The clinic is dedicated and deeply committed to provide compassionate, highly competent pulmonary medicine & sleep medicine services. I had to have a sleep study done. The first night was horrible. My staff was rude and unprofessional. I kept hearing the staff talk and the male tech came in and turned on the overhead light. He scared me and he didn't tell me why he was in the room. I tested positive for sleep apnea and had to come in for a second night. The second time was so much better. I came in during the week and the nurse and respiratory therapist were wonderful. They were so professional and kind. I slept so much better. When I had to come in for my follow up, Dr Desuyo was very thorough explaining my results and he answered all my questions. I did have to wait a long time to see him though but it was worth it. Just make sure that when you schedule your sleep study that you request to have it done during the week and not on the weekend.

I was very worried when I had to have a sleep study done. My doctor referred my to see Dr. Desuyo at the Onslow Medical Specialties Clinic in Jacksonville, NC. When I came in to have my sleep study done I was very nervous but the nurse who did my sleep study was very professional and courteous to me. She explained the procedure thoroughly and answered any questions I had. I would highly recommend anyone to go see Dr. Desuyo and have their sleep study done at the Clinic. The only issue I did have was there were two offices that did sleep studies and the clinic is hard to find.
