I had a concealed carry class instructed by Chris Robinson from Patriot TAC. He's pre-eminently qualified, experienced, and professional, with a history ranging from the United States Marine Corps NCIS to other federal law enforcement work to a degree in criminal justice. He travels all over the country giving these classes and is familiar with the laws in all 50 states, and can speak from a great depth of both knowledge and experience about firearms themselves and all laws pertaining to their use, especially in self defense or defense of another.

I myself served 15 years in the Marine Corps before being medically retired, and when I signed up for a state-mandated class on firearm safety and self defense laws, I went in expecting there wouldn't be very much they were going to tell me that I didn't already know. Boy was I wrong.

Chris is passionate about the 2nd amendment and our right to bear arms, but he is equally passionate about safety, responsibility, and what the law does and doesn't permit. He went above and beyond, spending more the twice the state-required minimum time covering the laws that we need to know, and boy am I glad he did. I was stunned to learn that some scenarios I had previously believed to be cut and dried open-shut cases of self defense *are not.* Despite the extra time spent, and despite all my years of experience in weapons handling and safety, there was *nothing* discussed in that class that I felt I didn't need to go over, and on the contrary a great deal that I'm very glad to have become informed about.

I cannot say enough good things about Chris. The man knows firearms and firearm laws forward and backward, and the decades of experience, training, and education he has are readily apparent when he tells you what you need to know. If you're getting a concealed carry permit, this is the man you want to prepare you for it.

This was my second class, practical handgun training, with Chris and Larry my first was concealed carry back in Jan. The combined experience they bring for just discussing related topics is enough to fill the class time but they are hands on practical trainers. The amount of thought that goes into the systematic detailed training on firearms, their handing, safety on and off range, shooting tactics for real world use are beyond what you'd ever get in other courses. I recommend this course and any others they offer because you won't be disappointed.

I attended a Concealed Carry Handgun Class hosted by Patriot Training and Consulting and I could not believe how much I learned from them. As both a Veteran Marine with many deployments and an avid shooter of more than nineteen years, I didn't expect to learn much from a CCW class in Jacksonville or anywhere for that matter.

To my surprise, from the start of the class in morning to the end in the afternoon, I learned a lot. From legal issues, to tactical use of a handgun, to defensive measures, Patriot Training really knows how to teach students at EVERY level; from beginner to seasoned professional. They're passionate about what they teach, they love teaching others, and it shows!



Though I consider myself an expert with both handguns and rifles, Patriottac's instructor explained and demonstrated some unique methods of handgun manipulation, personal defense, and even tactical use of a handgun that I just hadn't learned anywhere else.



Overall, I'm amazed by the incredible amount of knowledge, information, and experience these guys have. Their expertise thought me a lot. Most importantly, I learned there's still a great deal more to learn from guys who specialize in their line of work; no matter how much you know.



I plan to attend their NRA Personal Protection In the Home Course and their NRA Personal Protection OUTSIDE the home Course, an advanced concealed carry course, and I can't wait!
