East Side Elementary School provides academic and social education to more than 600 students in pre-kindergarten through grade four. The school s library media center houses a collection of books on various topics, as well as provides access to databases, encyclopedias, magazines, newspapers and other reference resources for students. It conducts educational classes in various subjects, such as reading, social studies, math, science, basic skills, music, computer applications, and health and physical education. The school organizes a range of athletic activities that include baseball, basketball, cheerleading, football, soccer, cross-country, and track and field. East Side Elementary School is a part of the Jacksonville Independent School District and is located in Jacksonville, Texas.
