Norman's Hallmark lost a good customer on New Year's Day. I was trying to return some Christmas items that I purchased on 12/27/09. There was nothing on my reciept indicating that it was a final sale. I went back into the store on New Years Day wanting to return the items and I was informed that I couldn't return them. When I asked why - the store manager, Linda, was extremely rude to me. She asked me why would the store mark Christmas items 1/2 off and take them back - no she would not accept my return. I stated that no one informed me that this was a final sale - unreturnable, when I made my purchase. I told Linda that I would not be returning to that store and she was just fine with that. Well, what a way to NOT do business. Whatever happened to customer service? I will gladly go to one of the other 3 Hallmark stores in the general area - no big loss!
