Founded in 1948 to preserve and interpret Rock County history, the Rock County Historical Society is Rock County’s premier resource for historical research, thought-provoking programming, and one-of-a-kind historic sites. Composed of six historic sites, five of which are currently located on a 3.25 acre site in Janesville, Wisconsin, the RCHS is the gateway for all to discover Rock County’ s rich past.
