Carroll Boshell and Bobby Barton began their entrepreneurial journey by establishing a pre-owned car dealership alongside mobile home sales, known initially as Boshell and Barton. Transitioning to Boshell Sales in 1982, they expanded their offerings to include both new and pre-owned mobile homes, alongside automobiles. In a significant move in 1991, Carroll spearheaded the construction of the establishment's current premises. By 1995, the focus shifted exclusively to the mobile home sector, leading to the evolution into Boshell Homes. During the late 1990s, Jasper boasted a thriving market with 15 used mobile home lots, yet today, Boshell Homes stands as the sole locally owned, independent hub for manufactured home sales in Walker County, preserving its hometown charm and legacy.
