Maddox Middle School offers education to students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, social studies, fine arts, computer basics, and family and consumer science. The school also organizes various extracurricular programs that include science club, student council and the National Junior Honor Society. Additionally, it provides a range of sports activities that include cheerleading, baseball, tennis, track, basketball, cross country, football, softball and volleyball. Maddox Middle School also provides counseling in a range of areas that include new student orientation, conflict resolution, study skills, career exploration, bullying, drug awareness, character education and high school preparation. Maddox Middle School enrolls more than 500 students.
