We reserved a cabin at Dogwood Springs with a bathroom (there are cabins available without bathrooms), but we had no hot water. Despite reporting this to the staff on several occasions, the hot water was never fixed during our 3 day stay. The staff adamantly argued with us to return a meager amount of money as compensation for 3 days of cold showers.

The staff was also never present during the daytime, though their office hours posted are from 8 am to 8 pm. When I asked a staff member why I could not find anyone who worked there during the day, she replied, "We all have other jobs." This is a business and their paying customers deserve to have an employee available during their posted office hours. Customer service was very poor. There are many other campgrounds and cabins available nearby where the employees are surely more concerned for their customers than at Dogwood Springs.
