Provided by YP.comStaff are very sympathetic and caring, in 11 months I had to have all 3 of my chiuahuahs put to rest and also my pitt was in need of surgery they have never been anything but caring n gentle with the needs of my pets and even hugged me after losing my fur babies also I want to add that my one 16 year old chiuahuah being scared n upset even has tried to nip at the tech and she calmly just called her silly and took her from my hands as they were taking her back to see the vet. That was the moment I felt very lucky to have my pets going there and knew I’d be staying there a long time!! I have other pets too and trust that they are getting everything they need when we go there. Very happy with the service and price of care has been great to us.

Provided by YP.comWe've been taking our Miniature Pinscher to Donaldson's for 12+ years. We have been frequent flyers this past year, as our dog was just diagnosed as diabetic, so getting him tested and stabilized & schooling us as the owners of a diabetic dog on how best to handle injections, diet, and their care and concern for our dog from ALL of the staff is unsurpassed by any Vets I have frequented with other pets. They always make room for us on the schedule if our dog has an unforeseen issue, the staff always greets us as we come and go like friends. The doctors [we usually see Dr. Alley who is fantastic} but all are top notch and loving. Somehow they have all mastered that special touch of making all patients feel as if they are special and always follow with phone calls the next day to check on progress. I highly recommend Donaldson's!

Provided by YP.comI brought my cat Chloe in to be put to sleep. She had a tumor on her back paw. It was necrotic, so she stunk to the high heavens. I had called the Humane Society and several vets all to get an estimate to do the surgery. I didn't have the $700. She was 14 years old and we just didn't have the money. The vet came out to talk to me and ask why I was putting down a perfectly good cat. I explained the situation, and she asked if I was willing to sign over my rights to the cat and she would do the surgery and keep Chloe. I loved her so I said yes. I called and checked on her several times over the next few days to see how her surgery went, and how she was doing. It was the week of Christmas and Christmas Eve I was shopping when they called and left a message. The next day they were in, I called. They said Merry Christmas you can come pick up Chloe and I didn't owe them anything. I cried I was so happy.

Provided by YP.comI'd rather pay more and be treated with respect. For example, I went to purchase food and did not go for an appointment. The woman working behind the counter asked my last name. I let her know that I wasn't there for an appointment but to pick up food. With annoyance, she said again, "Last name." No acknowledgment of anything. Then she couldn't find my file and told me to give her my full last name. I let her know that I had given her my full last name so I spelled it again. She had trouble locating my file and I don't know that she ever did. She told me I couldn't get what I needed because only the vet could give the info. So, today I went back and I got similar smart ass treatment from another woman after I used self deprecating humor to try to create a a better atmosphere. Whoever is in charge, please, for your sake, teach fundamentals of customer service or just common courtesy. Going elsewhere.

Provided by YP.comI provide food and shelter to wayward cats and kittens and have done so for nearly 10 years. Donaldson's has been my vet since I started. I have been through three vets there, all sympathetic, courteous and helpful. The staff has been consistent indicating a positive clinic atmosphere, know me by name, and treat me with great courtesy as well. It is my pleasure to give them a five star rating.

Provided by YP.comLet me begin by saying, there are two veterinarians there that are very knowledgeable, nice, and caring. Although, I must say that the regular veterinarian is unhelpful, uncaring, and unpleasant. Me and my wife went to take our two small dogs for a routine checkup and also to ask some questions. Recently they have started to show allergic reactions to something, so we felt the need to take them to get checked up. We took them both at the same time, on the same day to get checked for the same problems and for each to get a routine shot. We had left within 10 minutes of seeing the doctor, and had been charged for two checkups. We would have been fine paying the extra for two checkups if we had left feeling liked we had been helped. He was not gentle with our dogs and all our questions were brushed away. We asked him why our dogs would be coughing, and he responded with a usual "probably this" answer instead of trying to find what was wrong with them. Instead he went on to give them their shots, which he had to stab our one dog (the more nervous one) twice to get the correct placement, he even said it was "bad technique". The most helpful he was, was how he told us that their hearts sounded healthy, which is great, just not at all what we came in concerned about. Instead, we were charged twice for what time is probably less than a usual check up for one dog. Not to mention we were charge a huge amount for a heart check and two shots. To sum it up, instead of leaving knowing how to help our pets be healthy, we are leaving knowing we will never be returning. It's unfortunate because of how much we enjoyed the other two veterinarians, our schedules just didn't agree with theirs.

Provided by YP.comI have been taking my cats here for many years. The excellent staff are knowledgable and one of the most important things to me they are compassionate. I had to have a beloved cat of 17 years put to rest and they could not have been more caring about my feelings. Days after I received a sympathy card in the mail that proves to me that they understand the bond that owners have with their furry family members. I tell everyone that these guys are the BEST!
