Jefferson City Parks and Recreation is one of the departments administered by of The City of Jefferson. Its areas of responsibility include maintenance of local parks and recreation facilities and collection of taxes, fees and grants. The recreational facilities managed by the department includes playgrounds, pavilions, lakes, rivers, scenic spots, gymnasiums, skating parks, trials and forestry, swimming pools, golf courses and an ice arena. Its administrative office is located in Jefferson City, Mo.
