Jefferson Elementary School provides educational programs to more than 750 students from kindergarten through grade five. It offers various extracurricular activities, such as book fair, drama, health fair and accelerated reader program. The school also offers several after school activities and clubs, including drama club, accelerated reader nights and parent informational meetings. Its academic curriculum includes physical education, reading, media and technology, special education, science, English, math, health and social studies. The school has a school advisory council and provides guidance, media center, transportation, administration and food services to students. Jefferson Elementary School is a part of the Jefferson County Schools.
