Located in Jefferson, Wis., Jefferson Senior High School is a public school that is operated by the School District of Jefferson. It teaches more than 600 students in grades 9 through 12. The school has art, band, book, chess, key, forensics, science and yearbook clubs. It maintains various school organizations that include the Future Business Leaders of America, National Honor Society, Future Farmers of America and American Field Service. The school operates a student council that promotes leadership and citizenship among students and keeps faculty and students working together on school projects. Jefferson Senior High School teaches a variety of courses, such as agriculture, art, business education, English, family and consumer education, foreign language, health education, mathematics, music, physical education, science, social studies and technology education.
