Driftwood Bistro is honored to celebrate 10 years serving the locals and visitors of Jekyll Island Driftwood Bistro is a unique casual “low country” restaurant located in The Villas by the Sea Resort and Conference Center on Historic Jekyll Island, Georgia just minutes from the stunning Driftwood Beach. Driftwood Bistro is locally owned and operated by Dan Dickerson and has an amazing staff waiting to serve you. Driftwood Bistro provides the finest in Southern Cuisine “with a twist” featuring sweet Georgia Wild Shrimp caught locally in the waters surrounding Jekyll Island. Georgia Wild Shrimp is “hands down” the best shrimp in the world thanks to our sugar cane family marsh grasses. The decomposed grass (Spartina Grass) is an integral part of the local eco-system that makes Georgia Wild Shrimp sweet and tender. Our classic signature sides are old family recipes of the owners and staff alike. Some favorites are OG’s Fried Okra, Lynn’s Squash Casserole, and Augusta’s Bread Pudding!

I've dined here for dinner three times. Everything I ordered, food and beverages, were prepared well and met my expectations. My friends that I dined with also enjoyed their meals. I will go here again.

After visiting the Island several times I came upon Driftwood Bistro. Once past the yawning hostess, we were greeted with excellent waitstaff. All our needs were met. Food was exceptional and quickly presented. Atmosphere was pleasant and interesting. I would love to visit again!

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! My husband & I enjoyed dinner at The Driftwood Bistro during our 25th Anniversary Weekend. We enjoyed EVERYTHING about our experience: the delicious food, variety, VERY reasonable prices, service, atmosphere, staff and the owner. The staff & owner were very friendly & made us feel as though they were truly glad to have us there. We plan to dine at The Driftwood Bistro everytime we return to Jekyll Island as it turned out to be the BEST place we ate at all weekend. Thanks & GREAT JOB, Mr. Dan!
