Provided by YP.comDON'T GO TO THIS PLACE. I paid for a brand new set of pink and whites, & walked out with fat, chiclet like nails and oh so sore & bloody cuticles. To add salt into wound, I ended up with a fungus on two of my nails, & I pay good attention to my nails as how I am a cosmetologist myself. Never going there again & would never recommend this place to others.
I was reading a review about this salon about shellac manicures. Shellac ripples because either the shellac polish is of bad quality (like old or dried out) or the manicurist themselves. Too thick of shellac causes ripples and shellac that does not stay on long not because of the color like the manicurist said to the reviewer. I think it's silly that the reviewer had to pay to get her shellac taken off to get it fixed as well when she already paid for the service and returned the next day.

Provided by YP.comI had a pedicure and Shellac manicure done yesterday. First off, after my pedicure I was sitting down at the station to have my manicure and the man stretched his legs forward on top of my feet and smudged my pedicure. They do not give you flip flops so I had to walk around the salon in my bare feet.
Then he did my Shellac. He applied the polish SO thick. My nails looked really bad and artificial-looking, but also since it was so thick it dried in a ripple on my nails. I left there unhappy but didn't have time to do anything about it right then.
The next day I went back to give them a chance to make it right and fix my manicure. (I had fixed my pedicure on my own at home.) The owner told me that the color I had selected for my Shellac was a "creamy" color. She said all creamy colors ripple. I've had many Shellac manicures in the past and NEVER had any rippling. She asked me if I picked the color or did her employee? I had picked it. She told me "Well you picked that color so not our fault." Really? All "creamy" colors ripple and since I chose it it's my own fault? She said that since it was my first time there she would have someone change the color. I couldn't find a color that didn't look like it would be "creamy" so I asked if I could just get a Shellac French Manicure. MiMi said that I'd have to pay the upcharge for the French, which was understandable. So one of her employees soaked off my rippled Shellac and applied a French Manicure. (Btw, it was not a great French Manicure, just "so-so". Not perfect by any means.) I went to pay the difference for the French, $5. But MiMi told me that I had to pay to soak off the old Shellac, which would be $8. I didn't understand why I had to pay to soak off the Shellac since I wasn't satisfied with the job they had done in the first place. MiMi said that they have lowered their prices recently so they have to charge for everything now to cover their costs. Ok, whatever. I paid the $8 and left. They don't do a professional looking job to start with and don't stand behind their work. I will not be back and will tell my friends and family not to go here. I ended up paying $28 for a Shellac manicure so I might as well have gone to a reputable place and paid the normal price for the service.
If you're looking to have an exceptional manicure try the nail place inside the Meijer in Grandville by RiverTown Mall. Tu is amazing there and they have at least double the number of colors to choose from. Not quite as cheap as Classic Nails, but only slightly more money and you'll be WAY happier.
