Think twice before attending T...

Think twice before attending Trans-American Technical Institute. The course curriculum was absolutely nothing like advertised in their course catalogue (before it was recently "updated for 2012").

The instructor mostly talked about hunting, motorcycles, natural gas fracking and other irrelevant material. The administration is very rude, unorganized, and ignorant to the needs of the students.

I did all my own course work and graded all my own "take home tests" I spent only a half hour on the road and a few hours on the range practicing behind the wheel of a very unsafe bob-tail tractor under minimal supervision. It was advertised that this program mainly concentrated on "hands-on training of a combined 56 hours of range/road training.

The facilities were freezing cold, the truck simulators didn't work, and the video material was severely out-dated. (CDL TRAINING VHS FROM 1989). The majority of the training trucks they have on display are presented during the orientation for show, but spend most of their time in the garage or hauling materials for profit.

I tried to obtain a refund of my $2900 tuition numerous times but was met with hostility.

Over-all, I completely regret my decision to attend T.A.T.I. and I consider myself a victim of false advertising. I suggest you FIND ANOTHER SCHOOL!
