I took my mercedes to a one because of a check engine light and they took great care of me. They even cleaned my car for me.

DO NOT TRUST them!!! They totaled my engine by sabotage so I would continue to come back!!! The engine was new, but they spliced wires, forced-in and installed the wrong thermostat and water pump. The dealer said the damages they caused made my car a ticking time bomb. So if you have thousands of dollars to fix their mistakes and don't care if your engine might explode, just take it to the dealer. THIS PLACE IS NOT A BARGAIN, you'll pay for it!

I’ve been going to Able Auto Works (Formally A One Auto Works) for the past year or so for all my engine work. This is one of the few honest repair shops around. Their prices are very reasonable, and the turn around time is faster then any shop I’ve been to. My daily driver is a 1972 Gran Torino, and it is no easy task keeping a 41 year old car on the road. They’ve done everything from a partial engine rebuild to tuneups and electrical work. The work they’ve done is incredible, and I can drive anywhere without having to worry about breaking down. The staff is friendly, and I recommend them to anyone whether you drive and early or late model car.

I took my car in to be inspected and have the oil changed, granted pretty basic stuff. The staff was polite and efficient. I dropped off my car and came back after work (they called in the interim to say the work that been done). I wasn't overcharged and everything seems to be running nicely. This is the second time I took my car there for inspection; both times the experience was a good one. I'd return if I needed something more done.



PS I've gone to Pep Boys because it's convenient, and both times they kept the car overnight for a basic oil change and they kept "forgetting" to call me to give me an update.

I RECENTLY HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY VEHICLE, ONE OF MY FRIEND SUGGESTED THAT I GO TO A-ONE AUTO WORKS IN JERSEY CITY NJ.

NOT ONLY WERE THEY VERY FRIENDLY, THEY WERE ALSO BUDGET FRIENDLY. I WILL DEFINETLY USE THEM AGAIN, AND I WILL ALSO PUT OUT A GOOD WORD THAT A-ONE AUTO WORKS IS THE PLACE TO GO.

I bring my car here every time I have a problem and each time Gabrielle continues to build a solid relationship where I can trust his judgement and have no fear when I leave my car behind. I'm someone who has an older car that I love and want to continue to maintain. I'm very particular where I get my car fixed and I'm luck y to have found Gabrielle. I definitely recommend this place.

After breaking down in Orange, NJ we had the car towed to Pep Boys. Huge Mistake! They charged me $103 just to look at it. Then they were going to charge me $917 for a job that A One quoted me at $450! In the end, my car was in worse shape than originally thought and I didn't have enough to cover it. I ended up donating it and Gabriel made sure to hold it for me until the ADA could pick it up on Mon or Tues. (I live in MA and had to get home on Sun. and the car was towed to A One on Sat!) With Gabriel's caring nature and superb work ethic,along with the receptionist's excellent customer service, it made the death of my car easier to take.

I was 1000 miles past my oil change and my brakes were squeaking. I knew I needed service to my 2006 Volvo but other than that I don't know a thing about cars.



Gabrielle took the time to explain what needed done and how in the future I could assess some of my cars maintenance needs. He was great!!!



Also, the prices was very reasonable. Volvo's are not cheap to maintain relative to other cars so I plan to keep taking my car to A One Auto Works.

I took my car to A One Autoworks and was impressed with the level of professionalism. The mechanics were very patient with all my questions and explained thoroughly what needed to be done to my car. The replacement parts were of the best quality, the service was excellent, and their price was $200.00 cheaper than the other shop down the street from them. I highly recommend them.
