A church with such dynamic effervescence and liveliness in its spirit of worship. Pastors Joshua and Paula have not lost their fire and zeal from their earlier years of having been associated with A.I.C which is a dispensationalist, Arminian movement which believes the gifts of tongues and miracles, prophesying (in the sense of predicting the future apart from the cannon of scripture) are for today. Cityline church's doctrinal statement is shy at best, and seems to be designed to attract and appeal rather than commit and be solid for truth. Their services are tailored into a "feel good" environment much like going to Mcdonalds where hours later you feel sick and empty. It is a seeker sensitive movement and embodies all the sensuality of the "tickling ears" epidemic associated with a large portion of churches today in America. While Pastor Joshua's zeal and heart may be genuine, it is unfortunately misplaced in error. I love him and his wife Paula since I met them in the early 80's and saw their meteoric rise within their ranks, and noticed his discomfort at the complacency of the church at the time. He was and still is an outstanding human being who is generous, thought provoking, and faithful but unfortunately his theology has not risen to such where I could recommend this church to anyone seeking solid biblical, innerrant, infallible, doctrinal truth. Cityline church is full of doctrinal errors which are beyond the pale of Christian Orthodoxy and I believe wholeheartedly that being the type of truth seeker that Pastor Joshua is, that one day he will embrace the truth of reformed theology and dissassociate himself from dispensationalism and the charismatic chaos ushered in the early 1900's which contributed to the movement he was unfortunately raised in.
