JVF lost a customer today.



I've ordered several times from JVF in the past because they do good work, and yesterday I placed an order online totalling over $100 for two Mother's Day deliveries this year. I chose the items I did because of the discounted prices... I'm temporarily on a tight budget at the moment, but still wanted to send flowers. However, Debra called and informed me that my orders needed to total at least $120 for them to fulfill. (If you have a minimum order requirement of $60 per order then why do you allow customers to order and confirm for less on your website?)



Considering the current state of the economy, I can't believe you are going to allow a few measly extra dollars cause you to lose a repeat customer... I will be removing JVF as one of my preferred providers and will now look for a new regular florist to use and will no longer recommend you.



Sorry JVF, but this was your choice. *shrug*

Follow-up: Just FYI - Cypress Flowers (www.northwestflorist.com) will be delivering comparable items for almost identical prices ($109 total) to my two recipents in NW Houston on Saturday. Just thought you'd like to know where your business went.
