I went in for a pedicure.
The massage was the best part. However, I had to ask for more length to be taken off my toenails. Even then, it's a bit longer than I like, but do-able. I told the guy that the exfoliation is the best part, and that my problem areas are my heels and big toes for callous. Again, could have done better. I've never had my flip flops put back on before finishing, so it was odd, I guess they don't want to risk messing up. Then, when he painted my toenails, he missed the outer edge of the big toes. Then he put top coat and left me there to dry. I had to ask to get a design on my big toes, they didn't ask if I wanted one. When he handed me the design board, I noticed right then that they weren't as artistically inclined as I had expected. Then, the female was called over to do my design. She seemed very upbeat and happy to help. She said something to him in their native language about the nails, and redid the color on my big toes, so there was not a missing strip down the side.I picked a simple but elegant design, and it ended up turning out fine.
In the end, it looks fine, but it's more about the experience. It could have gone a little better. This is more like therapy for me, I can paint my toenails.
