Calvary Church in Johnson City is truly a unique church. In a day when it seems hard to even find God in area churches, I can say with no hesitation that in the 4 years I've been attending Calvary, that the manifested presence of the Holy Spirit has been in every single worship service I've attended. There is not a week goes by that I don't feel like I've had an encounter with the living God after attending church. Lives are being changed, people are being healed, and souls are being added to the kingdom each week at Calvary. Come check it out! You won't be disappointed! God is truly there, and waiting to meet you!

I have never been to a church where you can actually physically feel the Lord. I feel him every time at Calvary. Pastors, the Hiltons, are an amazing testimony and great example of Godly Christians. They welcome you with open arms and are not judgmental in the least. This is a church that you can come to no matter your past or what you have done and know that you will be welcomed & loved with open arms by all. The praise & worship is truly amazing as well. It's not your traditional church, but it is by the book! I love my church and my pastors! They have shown me so much about and have helped to reconnect me with my Lord & Savior!

The presence of the Holy Spirit is at Calvary Church. The service starts off with great Praise and Worship lead by Ricky Hilton. You will feel like you have been to church even before the Pastor begins the message. Pastor Richard Hilton is simply amazing. God really uses him to deliver a message that is scripture filled. I recommend you give Calvary a visit, hopefully you will make it your home, as we did.
