We have taken our Westie to the Kingsport facility numerous times, each time at least 3 days and sometimes as long as 7 days. He loves it. Can't wait to get in the door. The staff are really nice, and the dogs appear to be having a great time. We have never had a bad experience there. Our dog is very sensitive so if there was anything bad going on, he simply would not run in all excited each time. I am very confident that he is well taken care of while he is there.

I have taken my dog to Camp Ruff-N-More about 5 times. After every visit, she acted funny and one time she even flinched when we would go to pet her, like she was afraid we were going to hit her. That is when I vowed I would take her there again. This past weekend, the vet clinic where we've been taking her was booked so I reluctantly ended up taking her back to Camp Ruff-N-More. When we got home after picking her up on Sunday she had two areas around her neck where it looked like they had bathed her but hadn't gotten all of the shampoo out of her hair. I went to wash it out the next day and realized it wasn't shampoo, but clumps of ointment that they had put on two completely red, raw spots that hurt her when we touched anywhere near them. There ended up being a total of 3 and all around her neck. I was furious becauase obviously something had happened and they knew about it and didn't mention anything to us. I took pictures and went in to talk to the owner, who offerend no explanation except that the dogs "play hard" and that he was sorry. He even offered me a free day stay next time we bring her there - as if I'm ever bringing her back again! I just wanted to post this to warn anyone thinking about leaving their pet with them. I'm sure most of their employees love animals and treat them well, but I have no doubt that isn't always the case and that they aren't honest with their customers about what happens while they are there.

After reading these reviews i was hesitant to take my puppy there but when i arrived i please to see how clean the place was. My dog left tired but very happy. I have been going there ever since and i wouldn't leave my dog anywhere else.

The first time we left our dogs it was for an afternoon so they could get used to it. They were stinky but happy when we picked them up. The second time they went inside willingly and were left for three nights. When we picked them up they were disgustingly foul. Their bedding was urine soaked and they couldn't get out the door fast enough to pee. The third time was an overnight stay. They weren't happy to be there but we left them anyway. When we picked them up one of them had a wound in her side. There was no explanation to be had. The last time was for an afternoon. One of the dogs planted her feet in the parking lot and would only go inside when the other dog did. My heart breaks thinking of the long time they suffered trying to "hold it" and then have to do the unthinkable - pee in their bedding. It is inexcusable to have any dog in your care get hurt and not be attended to. Under no circumstances will our dogs be left at Ruff N More ever again.

I dropped my Maltese off there on 6/2/2011 and picked her up on 6/10/2011. I was horrified when I picked up my dog, she was Filthy, not the white little princess I dropped of but brown and stinking with fleas. her eyes were dirty and she had poop on her tail, my dog has never in her life looked or smelled like this. This is not what I expected to see, I paid extra for her to have in her own area and from the condition she was in when I picked her up they did nothing to show me they cared about my Maltese. The bill was $220 for the time she was there, WOW that's $29.30 per day. The last time I kenneled her was in Louisiana for 6 days and it was $15 a day and they gave her a bath the day we came to pick her up that was included in the cost. I will never come back to any of your locations, sorry but you need to do a lot better for long kennel stays.

Provided by YP.comThis is not an animal shelter. We are a dog daycare and boarding facility! We would love to keep your furry friend while you are at work or on vacation! Sorry for any confusion!

We had tried other day care facilities but it became very clear to us that our dog Buddy was not happy. A vet had mentioned she had heard good things about Camp Ruff-N- More. We called and went to see the facility and came away very impressed with the owner Corey and his staff. We enrolled Buddy and on days he goes to day care he actually runs up to the door. He is with out a doubt a happy camper!!
