Bought a lot of furniture from these guys they are great. Excellent prices and service had a problem on a dresser leg and got me a new one.

I ordered two bradington yonge recliners. The mechanisims did not work on either chair.The head rest was at a 45 degree angle. after admitting there was a problem, they still refused to return my money. I am out $1,000 dollars. be very carefull with this company

I ordered a dining room set from Lenoir Empire recently. The process went smoothly and I received my furniture as promised and ordered. I would use them again next time I need good quality furniture for the best prices available.

We ordered a King Hickory Leather sofa and recliner from Lenoir Empire. Walter was up front and let us know the leather we chose was on a back order and it would be several weeks before it would be available. He estimated the end of June when the manufacturer would get the leather. We were fine with that, we were in no hurry and figured the furniture may be delivered end of July or early Aug. We were told the furniture was released to the trucking company Aug 16 and we were called for a delivery date of 9/7 which didn't work for us. We were told it would be another 3 weeks until they would be in our area. This is when we became nervous, envisioning it traveling around the country for a month and getting damaged in the process. Well, it finally arrived in perfect condition 9/24. The delivery guys were very careful and extremely polite. The furniture is nicely made and comfortable- we saved $800 including the delivery charge compared to a quote from a local furniture store for the exact items and paid no sales tax! I would use Lenoir Empire again, but would always check locally first so I can check what the product and fabrics actually look like, rather than relying on an on line photo

Our experience with Lenoir Empire Furniture has been A+, to the point that I as a real estate broker have had no reservations in referring the owner Walter Carr and his staff to my clients when asked where they could make a furniture purchase. Prior to our first purchase we visited their place in Johnson City and met with Walter, it was obvious that they had been in the same location offer excellent value for many years and handled the finest lines of furniture. From that time in 2006 we have made several purchases from them our first one was to furnish an entire great room and two bedrooms. They only carry the finest lines of home furnishings and accessories, we have been repeat customers ordering a dining room set, master bedroom set, area rugs, lamps, and art. They keep very busy so at times we may have to call a second time to get prices that we had requested earlier, although for the savings it is worth the small inconvenience. The delivery is also outstanding as the pieces have always arrived in the cartons, crates, containers, sent from the manufactorers and are unpackaged and inspected at your door prior to coming into your home. We have only had very minor issues with one piece there vs purchasing at a high end furniture store where the items are unpackaged at their stores and then set in a deilvery van, or truck with barely any protecion and often brought in with scrathes or damage which we have also experinced when working with the retail stores. Cannot say enough good about Walter, he is a very hard working, honest, man with outstanding work ethic, and my clients have all loved the savings and this is how he has built his business over all the years that he has been operating is by word of mouth. We also have desinger friends here in FL that have used Lenoir Empire Furniture for their clients and projects.

I have bough several pieces of furniture from Walter and he is truly a gentleman and extremely helpful. Many of my pieces had to be altered at the factory (bed height, home theater center configuration, feet on a dresser, mirror sizing), and Walter was a great intermediary with the factory. All pieces came out very well. His prices are good and I have never had a problem with delivery. A+++

I was looking to update the furniture in our living room and I was able to get all of the pieces I needed at the best price from Lenoir Empire. I received my pieces all as ordered from a few manufacturers all in one delivery. I highly recommend them for your next furniture purchase.

Bought a Bedroom set from them had a great experience everything was as I ordered. Had a small problem with the dresser it had a manufacturer defect but was replaced by Lenoir Empire no problem.....Would recommend!

Lenior beat all other companies in price but has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Our furniture was damaged and it has been almost months with no repair. Everyone we have worked with at Lenior has been extremely rude and disrespectful.

After researching this company and dealing with the staff over the phone felt comfortable to order a chair manufacture Highland House , great price delivered as promised , awesome customer service ! I will order more funiture , Thank You Y 'all Glenda , Thank You my Mother Loves Her Chair

I purchased an armoire in 2010. The price was great, the delivery was timely, but when the piece arrived, it was damaged. It was still in the original packaging, so it was not the fault of the delivery truck. The driver took photos and we took photos and we all agreed that it was damaged upon arrival. The shipment arrived in November 2010 and through multiple phone calls, emails, etc. I have been told that it would be repaired. They even sent a repairman in May 2011, but he said he did not have the correct color and he would return with the proper colors, but he would need further authorization to repair it as it was a bigger job than he anticipated. Currently, neither the repairman nor Lenoir Empire Furniture will respond to my phone calls or emails.

Highly recommended! I originally found Lenior Empire Furniture on the Internet in 2003 and I've been purchasing furniture from them ever since! They carry most designer brands. Walter is the owner and he's a real person, he's honest and accessible. I've purchased a Century bedroom set, Henredon dining set, two Hickory Chair couches, many yards of Hickory Chair fabrics (for reupholstery), and several Henredon tables. With so many deliveries over the years, there have been a few problems but Walter took care of them all. I am very happy and recommend my friends. That's why I wanted to write this review.

I decided on a piece of furniture and did a search for the best price. I found it at Lenoir. I should have known during the ordering process that they didn't value my business as there was no follow up and they didn't even bother to charge my credit card for the deposit but I didn't think it would matter once I received my furniture. Wrong. I had a problem with it and informed them right away. Getting them to resolve the issue has been impossible. I have been calling and emailing for 3 months and they still haven't addressed the issue. Everytime I get someone on the phone they act like it's the first time I've called and promise to get back to me but never do. No matter the savings I would not buy anything from them again or recommend them. The savings are not worth being unable to have a defective product fixed.Buyer beware: buy locally from a reputable dealer that will actually work with you even after they deposit your check.
