This is a great facility with great staff

I have known several people who have stayed at this facility and were very satisfied. When I visited the facility it was very clean and odor free.

This facility is one of, if not the best facility in the tri-city area. The negative comments regarding poor patient care could not be furhter from the truth. Slander usually comes when an employee is let go and they decide to vent-PLEASE do not take your frustrations of your shortcomings out on Christian Care. Chuck Arnold is the greatest, most compassionate Administrator I have ever come across-and I have dealt with many. The residents that reside within this facility are very loved and cared for.

This facility is horrible. Chuck Arnold was by and still is by far the worst administrator ever. The only thing this facility cares about is money. This facility cares nothing about its residents. I've seen abuse, neglect among other things at this facility. Everything was reported and covered up for a state walk through's and corporate walk throughs those were mainly covered up. This facility cares too little about the residents or the brunt of the work force cna's. The actual cna's that work and actually care about the residents are let go via "FAMILY" members saying they said something they didn't or what not else. There is no investigation. There is also no discipline for workers calling in constantly. The facility its self still has resident "wanderers" that constantly go into the other residents rooms and confiscate things. I've seen residents get into fights with each other and when everything was said and done. No matter which one started the fight. The facility sided with the person they liked the best. I've also seen nurses send out residents to get rid of them in hopes of them never coming back. Residents not only do not get the proper care they need but if a resident is on thickened liquids that resident for some odd reason gets thinned liquids to drink to aspirate on. Now there are a few and I mean VERY FEW C.n.a's that actually care for the residents. I've seen great nurses come in and end up working for a few months just to be let go for something stupid. These people that were there like that came to work not just for a paycheck but for the residents. This place also states team work team work team work. Yet when you try to work in teams , the workers are frowned upon. All and all this place is a joke I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to go there and I am here by petitioning and boycotting this place. Oh and Janice who posted before me, don't get me wrong I'm glad you like the facility but I will tell you this much watch the days out there. The newest nurses brought in are very rough with the residents.

There is no substitute for home but when a loving family member needs the care that you cannot give and need the care of a nursing home, I can't imagine a better place to put them. I have been very pleased with the care given my dear, 97 year old Mother who is now in her last days. When I leave my Mom I know she is being cared for.

This facility is pathetic. Chuck Arnold(Facility administrator) is a joke. The only thing he cares about is money. He has covered up numerous things in that facility and ABUSE being one. If you are not in the"party crowd" then your life as an employee there is unbelievable. I agree with the last person,Mr. Arnold is prejudice and only cares about himself. It is true ABUSE has been reported to him on several occasions and nothing has been done. I would not put my dog in that facility knowing what all goes on and it is covered up. I am telling you he puts on this escalade like he cares in front of family members but in reality he laughs at them behind their backs. I find it amazing that if you work there and report stuff that is not legally right then you can bet they will find a way to fire you. I am telling the public now SOMEONE NEEDS TO REALLY INVESTIGATE HOW THAT PLACE IS RUN. It just amazes me all that goes on in that facility and even corporate gives a blind eye to it. I only wish former employees that has worked there would speak up and maybe the public would open their eyes and not put their loved ones in that place.

As a former employee, I would NOT recommend anyone putting their family member(s) in this facility! Chuck Arnold (Facility Administrator) cares nothing about this facility, it's residents or employees! He is a racisist, prejudice bigot, who is not in a position to ensure quality care for his resident's. Five residents...FIVE! were reported for being abused by the nursing staff! His attention is obviously on the almighty $. I personally have seen nurses restrain residents (physically), when there was no physician's order. Honestly, I truly believe that they should have to remove the word Christian from their title, because it's obvious they're not there for the residents and I'm pretty sure that's what Jesus would NOT do!

This is the worst place I have ever had to deal with. They seem to have an adequate nursing staff, but the management is ridiculous! The Director of Nursing has no experience whatsoever. The assistant looks like a teenager with rainbow colored hair. Definetly not a very professional place at all. I have brought many concerns to their attention and they are never addressed. Just there for the paycheck! DON'T PUT YOUR FAMILY AT THIS ZOO!!!!!

I recently visited this very nice facility. My first impressions was the flavor of home when I entered the front door. Two female residents were sitting in the front lobby as if they were in their private living room. They were having a pleasant conversation and were very well dressed and looked so happy. The office person had stepped away and I was assisted by the administrator to acquire an application for employment. He was very nice and took time to talk to me. I was very impressed. I returned my application the next morning. The atmosphere of a place just says so much when you enter. I just felt this is where I would like to be.

The facility is nice, but I have been displeased with how the service is. You can report a problem or an issue and they are not quick about getting back to you on it. And do not seem to care on your end how you are feeling or what you may be going through with your loved one. Do not call them!! The majority of the time no one will answer the phone and do not leave a message they will not return your call! Your best bet is to go to the facility and hunt them down. First place to look would be the breeze way!! Find them there a lot on smoke breaks. Their help are overworked, but they do try to give it their best! They cannot help who manages the hiring and firing.
