Provided by YP.comDr. Amy French is a vet to be avoided at all costs.
She misdiagnosed my parents dog with Cushings Disease, and treated the dog for Cushings Disease for a month.
The dog never got better after my parents forked over nearly $1000. They brought the dog to another vet who did the same blood work as Dr. French and this vet instantly saw the high calcium levels in the blood as a red flag for cancer. By this time it was too late, and my parents had to put their dog to sleep because he was too sick to carry on...
Over a month was wasted on Dr. French. A month this poor dog did not have.
If you value your pets do not take them to this "doctor".

Provided by YP.comFirst of all the google maps location for this is wrong so don't use that. I was not impressed with the staff or the Dr.. I had an appointment although I'm not sure why because it didn't seem to matter. Took about an hour to get in to see the vet aid , although there were other staff just hanging around. Dr. was very to the point and really didn't even seem to try and connect with me or my animal. She didn't even offer her a treat even though she was noticeably shaking. All in all maybe in an emergency I would use them but defiantly not going to be my vet.

Provided by YPmobileWe have been going to Dr. French for several years now. She is a fantastic doctor who offers holistic treatments as well. She saved my cat's life when he was having a severe asthma attack. Her staff have been nothing but good to us.

Provided by YPmobileI took my 3.5 month old englidh bulldog here with injuries and Dr.French misdiagnosed my puppy with a pinched nerve when in fact ($700 later) it was a broken arm. When approached after my dog was properly diagnosed, I was apologized to after a lengthy discussion about diagnosis protocol. I am still having to foot a $3500 vet bill for a necessary surgery she needs. I am beyond upset.

Provided by YPmobileI have been going to Dr. French for many years now and have always had a great experience. Always willing and very helpful to answer my questions or concerns. I am very impressed with her use of essential oils. Instead of using antibiotics, I opted for the oils, and it has been a blessing. She was able to point out easily that my one rescued dog was not aggressive just fearful, and what I could do to help the situation. I have two dogs and two cats that are healthy and well taken care of. Thanks Johnstown Animal Clinic!

Provided by YP.comThis place is to be avoided at all costs. I was a customer there for over 10 years. Paid in full at the end of every visit. I called this morning looking for some free advice because I did not have the hundreds of dollars that it usually costs every time I go there. My dog has gunky eyes, lethargic and really can't see. Everyone I talked to says allergies so basically I was looking for some confirmation. Nope they had to see her. Then I asked if I put down $100 if I could make payments. Nope but will hold a check. Ridiculous!!!!!!! Oh when I said I wanted our animals records because I am switching to another vet they were going to charge me 25 cents a copy. Also came to find out they gave my dogs each a heart worm test last time they were there and they did not need one because the last one was a year ago and they have been taking their medicine. Ripped me off of $90 there.
