I am currently the SM of this Lids, and have been for 4 years. I can't say enough how much I love my job, the company and my colleagues. The benefits and flexibility speaks for itself, and the stress on customer satisfaction. I am also allotted a fair amount of creativity on executing ideas or plans to increase sales and happy customers. My customers are some of the most interesting and versatile. Even when I get a customer concern to address, I pride myself in the ability to be permitted to do what it takes to make them happy. I know, personally, that I train all of my staff to hold themselves accountable for customer experience with each individual sale. And they have the comfort of knowing they have a Store Manager with 12+ years of retail experience to guide in their career choices. Whether they are going to school for other career paths or they plan on building a future with Lids and our mother corporation, Genesco. We ensure that customers and employees alike always feel appreciated. I would recommend the Johnstown Lids for any of your sports shopping ( not just hats! Apparel and accessories as well.
